An inspiring bicycle tour...

Robert Hollandsworth is a man on a journey. A bicycle tour he started on December 30th, 2008 with no predetermined route or end date.

Read his journal. I hope you'll be inspired as much as I have.

Cycle For Life

He's battled strong winds and super chilly nights. He's encountered challenges. Through it all, however, he's helped and has been helped by complete strangers - a factor which I find so inspiring since it is in such contrast to so much of what we hear about everyday in the news. In my last email correspondence with him he was staying for a few nights at a church in Gonzalez, TX where he was helping to build a web site for a small church and having a nice, warm place to stay in return. Web site development for room and board. Cool.

I'm hoping to share a few miles with Robert when he passes through San Antonio in about a week. If Robert comes through YOUR town, show him some hospitality. Us cyclists need to stick together!

Hey, any idea what happened to Robert? I went to his site and read everything, very interesting and inspiring........he put up a post every day from the start, but he hasn't posted anything in 3 days, since 1/11? I was looking forward to checking in and following his daily progress. Hope nothing bad happened.

Robert and I have exchanged a few emails so I think he's just fine! He had planned to stay a few days in Gonzalez to help the small church there build a web site.

I know what you mean though. You read a few logs and it just wets your appetite to hear about his next adventure!
